Symmetrical drive

Unlike other water sports, wakeboarding requires a symmetrical board that allows for multiple rotations. The Wii-wake drive is designed to meet this need, providing all the functionality of a traditional wakeboard. This enables you to perform tricks just like on a conventional wakeboard, but free of cables.

Go in the chosen direction

You can choose your starting position, whether you ride regular or goofy.

Turn the board 180°

Turn the board using your body balance and change the direction of the board's thrust using the controller.

Go in the same direction

The board is turned, and you are still going in the same direction. You can use the symmetrical drive to perform many tricks.

Replace a battery and keep riding

With Wii-wake in a wireless wake park, you're not limited by battery life. When it's time to change the battery, the board will notify you, and you can head to a pit stop where a fully charged battery awaits. The wakepark is designed with ample batteries and chargers to ensure you never have to wait for a recharge.

Use the booster function on obstacles

The board is designed for riding over obstacles, allowing you to not only perform tricks on the water but also take your skills to the next level by riding over obstacles. Kickers, sliders, and other features are popular in wakeboarding, and Wii-wake was developed with these in mind. Thanks to its special booster function, you can momentarily increase the board's thrust right before hitting an obstacle.

Do you have questions? We’ve got answers. If you have any other inquiries, feel free to email us at info@fridee.com

Can a Wii-wake ride on obstacles?

Yes, one of the key features of the project is designing a board capable of riding over obstacles. It includes a special boost function that momentarily increases speed before hitting an obstacle, making your jumps more spectacular.

Can I ride my Wii-wake outside of the wakepark?

Absolutely. A wireless wake park features obstacles and pit stops for battery changes, allowing you to ride without interruptions for charging. However, you can also enjoy your Wii-wake on a serene, flat water surface in nature, even in the evening.

Will the board stay afloat with me during the start?

No, the board’s buoyancy is sufficient to keep itself on the water, but it won’t support the rider when stationary. This is similar to a traditional wakeboard without a motor. To start, position yourself in the water so that the bow of the board is slightly raised above the surface, then start the drive. As you straighten your back leg, the board will pull you up and lift you out of the water.

Will Wii-wake replace cable wakeboarding?

That's rather unlikely. Cable wakeboarding is a deeply rooted sport with many enthusiasts. The wireless version will likely be a new variation of the sport rather than a replacement. New tricks and new champions will surely emerge, just as it happened in the evolution of surfing.
